How do I withdraw from Fountain?
Withdraw funds from Fountain using a Lightning wallet with either a Lightning invoice or LNURL-Withdraw.
To withdraw funds from Fountain, you will need a bitcoin Lightning wallet such as Cash App, Strike, or ZEBEDEE.
Please bear in mind that network fees of up to 1% apply each time you withdraw. Check your available balance in Wallet before withdrawing.
Pay A Lightning Invoice
- In your Lightning wallet, choose Receive
- Enter the amount you want to withdraw
- Copy the invoice
- In Fountain, go to Wallet
- Tap Scan in the top right, or press Withdraw
- Choose Pay Lightning Invoice
- Scan the QR code or paste the invoice
- Tap Allow
- Tap the yellow button to pay the invoice
LNURL-Withdraw
Some Lightning wallets support LNURL-Withdraw. This lets you start the withdrawal in Fountain and complete it in your wallet.
- In Fountain, go to Wallet
- Press Withdraw
- Choose Withdraw via LNURL
- Choose the amount you want to withdraw
- Copy the withdrawal details or scan the QR code with your Lightning wallet
- Complete the withdrawal in your wallet
