- Checked its first day, first week and first three months
No, it started slow. It has more than doubled since week one and is climbing again. Worth a clip?

What should the next batch look like?
- Compared last week’s clips with your average
- Looked for what the winners share
Short, one-line arguments did best, and X outperformed Instagram. I will cut the next three that way.

FAQs
See all FAQsDo I have to move my podcast to Fountain?
No. Connect the feed you already have and your numbers come in on it. Hosting is here when you want it.
Are the numbers IAB compliant?
Yes. Downloads are counted to IAB rules, which is what sponsors and networks expect when they ask for your figures.
What can I break downloads down by?
Episode, app, country and device.
Can I see how an episode did over time?
Yes. Every episode is measured at 24 hours, 7 days and 3 months, so you can tell a slow burn from a flop, and see when an old one starts climbing again.
Can I see how my social posts did?
Yes. Views, likes and comments for every post on every channel, next to the episode the clip came from.
Can I bring my old analytics with me?
Not into Fountain. Export your history from your current host before you switch, so you keep a copy.
Does a download mean someone listened?
Not always. A download means the episode reached a device. Apple Podcasts and Spotify see actual listens inside their own apps, and show them in their own dashboards.
Can I export my data?
Pull downloads and payments through the API, or have reports sent on a schedule. If you need a CSV, email hello@fountain.fm and we will send one.
Can reports be sent automatically?
Yes. By email, into Slack or as a page in Notion, on the schedule you set. Your numbers are in the API too.
Can I put my own branding on a report?
Yes, on Enterprise. White-label reporting is built for networks and agencies sending reports to clients.
