How do I manage my auto download settings?
Manage automatic downloads for all shows, specific shows, and saved or queued episodes in Fountain.
Fountain can automatically download new episodes from the shows you follow. You can manage this for all shows, specific shows, and items you save, star, or queue.
Auto Download For All Shows
By default, new episodes download when you are connected to Wi-Fi. This applies to new episodes that appear in your library when you open the app for the first time that day or when you manually sync your library.
To change this setting:
- Open the Main Menu
- Go to Settings
- Choose Library
- Under Automatic Downloads, choose one of the following:
- Never for no automatic downloads
- Wi-Fi to download only when connected to Wi-Fi
- Mobile Data to download on any connection
Auto Download For Specific Shows
Specific show settings follow your global automatic download setting by default. You can override that for individual shows.
To change this setting for one show:
- Go to the Show page
- Press the Settings icon
- Toggle Auto Download on or off
Auto Download On Save, Star, Or Queue
You can also automatically download episodes when you save them, star them, or add them to your queue, even if automatic downloads are turned off for all shows.
To change these settings:
- Open the Main Menu
- Go to Settings
- Choose Library
- Under Auto Download On, choose whether downloads should happen on Save, Star, or Queue
